A Taste of Thailand at Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa
Those who have seen it all can now experience Dubai's first ever Thai long-tail boat, with journeys offered from Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa on the
Palm Jumeirah to
Dubai Marina and back.
The authentic vessel, shipped all the way from Thailand, will be making several trips every day from the beach resort's private jetty, through the bottom of the Palm Jumeirah and over to Dubai Marina on the city's mainland. The colorful long-tail boat, known as a 'Ruea Hang Yao' in Thai, can transport up to 10 people per trip and is available to both in-house and external guests.
Jean-Francois Laurent, general manager at Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa, said: "At Anantara we want each of our guests to leave with unique stories to tell back home. The story of the boat is a tale in itself, having made the long journey from the land of smiles. Embarking on a picturesque trip sailing through one of the most iconic areas of Dubai, aboard an authentic Thai long-tail boat is a story to share with all your friends and family. We're really looking forward to welcoming more of our guests onboard, for what we consider to be an experience of a lifetime."
Offering a unique urban escape in the cosmopolitan destination of the United Arab Emirates, Anantara's Dubai hideaway is a luxury beach resort unlike any other. With 293 luxurious rooms and villas, characterized by Asian-inspired luxury, lazy days can be spent enjoying the exotic pleasures of the resort's private 400 metre beach, the three winding lagoon-inspired pools and shoreline infinity pool, or by indulging in any of the soothing treatments at Anantara Spa.
