World Baseball Classic, as well as the
UN Preparatory Meeting for the Climate Summit COP 17. The World Baseball Classic 2011, a major international baseball event organized by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF), is being held from the 1st to the 15th of October, welcoming 16 countries, as well as thousands of journalists and fans from all over. Atlapa Convention Center offer of a complementary event for a group of more than 500 rooms with a minimum stay of 3 nights, as well as the free health insurance for tourists in case of an emergency. The service is offered to all tourists entering Panama by the
Tocumen International Airport and covers visitors for the first 30 days of their stay.
Atlapa Convention Center is an eight hectare complex with a capacity for up to 10,500 people, 24 meeting rooms with a 2,806-seat beautiful theater / auditorium, equipped with comfortable armchairs, and offering a variety of facilities and services. Moreover, Panama offers 4- and 5-star hotels with around 240,000 sq. ft. of space that will double simultaneously the capacity of Atlapa. Panama's strategic geographical location, warm climate throughout the year, beaches, hotel infrastructure and important air connectivity, has been captivating the attention of the meetings & conventions sector.
