The U.S. Virgin Islands (USVI) proudly served as the Presenting Sponsor of the
LPGA Founders Cup, held February 6-9, 2025, at
Bradenton Country Club. The tournament, which honors the legacy of women's golf pioneers, provided a dynamic platform for the USVI to showcase its vibrant culture, world-class tourism offerings, and warm hospitality to a global audience.

"The U.S. Virgin Islands is honored to have been the presenting sponsor of the LPGA Founders Cup, an event that not only celebrates excellence in women's golf but also aligns with our commitment to empowering and uplifting women in sports and beyond," said Joseph Boschulte, Commissioner of the
U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism. "Through this partnership, we were able to share the beauty, culture, and hospitality of our islands with golf fans, inviting them to experience all that the USVI has to offer."

Bringing an authentic island flair to the tournament, the USVI activation space-located across from hole 9-immersed attendees in the spirit of the Caribbean. Visitors were treated to energetic performances by Moko Jumbies and cultural dancers, while also receiving exclusive USVI-branded giveaways, including bags, towels, hats, sunglasses, and sunblock. The activation also highlighted the many exciting experiences awaiting visitors in the U.S. Virgin Islands, emphasizing its pristine beaches, outdoor adventures, accommodations, and the ease of travel with no passport required for U.S. citizens. |
