BM&T’S ANNUAL AFRICAN-AMERICAN MEET UP AT IMEX AMERICA TO BE HELD AT BLACK FAMILY-OWNED CLASSIC JEWEL RESTAURANT
|
In keeping with our mission to support African-American vendors and suppliers in the hospitality/travel/tourism industry, Black Meetings & Tourism is holding its annual
African-American Meet Up in Las Vegas on October 8 at the
Classic Jewel. The gathering is scheduled to unfold between 6-10 p.m. at the restaurant located at 353 E. Bonneville Avenue in Las Vegas. Planners and other industry colleagues are invited to attend this eagerly awaited event for an evening of spectacular networking, great food and drink. This is also our opportunity to promote cooperation and collaboration in our community, and the concept of working together for the betterment of all.
Special thanks goes out to Sherri Brown, Vice President of Multicultural Sales & Development at
Visit Tampa Bay, and
Tony Gladney, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at
MGM Resorts International, both of whom are longtime supporters of the African-American market segment. As an added bonus, we can all help Brown celebrate her 16
th anniversary at Visit Tampa Bay.
I'm also sending a shout out to our planners Katrina Ruff and
Tiara Ruff, and their team at
Forums Meetings & Events, for their stellar work in pulling this Meet Up together.
