TRAVELING WITH DENELLA RI'CHARD CAN BE SEEN ON AMERICAN AIRLINES THIS SUMMER!

Season Three of "Traveling with Denella Ri'chard" kicked off on Sunday, May 9th with the Super Bowl Championship City, Tampa Bay!

In this two-part episode, President & CEO of Visit Tampa Bay, Santiago Corrada gave Denella the secret on how they pulled off a major event like Super Bowl during the pandemic.  Corrada said, "This one is the most special Super Bowls because not only did we pull off a big event of that caliber, during a pandemic, we had our hometown Buccaneers playing the first hometown Super Bowl and then win the Super Bowl".

Tampa Bay takes pride in being a multicultural city.  In part one of this episode, you'll get a chance to meet the President of J.C. Newman Cigar Factory (which dates back to 1895).  President Eric Newman talks about the history of the company and when Tampa Bay was the Cigar Capital of the World outside of Cuba.  In part two, Denella visits The Tampa History Center where Black History Curator, Fred Hearns, gives the history of Central Ave, once known as The Harlem of the South.  It was a place where you could find Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald.  Throughout her trip, Denella highlights various health and safety protocols that have been implemented across the city.
