JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead's Learning Lab
Since February, Marriott has hosted more than 2,400 meetings professionals to experience
Hybrid Event Learning Labs at hotels across the country to demonstrate - in person - how meeting professionals can plan and execute a successful hybrid meeting.
As part of Marriott's Connect with Confidence, customers and clients have visited Learning Labs at hotels in Denver, Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Dallas, Bethesda, Austin, Minneapolis and Phoenix for a 90-minute immersive session. Marriott will soon host Learning Labs at The Westin Copley Place in Boston (June 9 - 10) and Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile (June 9 - 10), followed by events in New York City, Philadelphia, and then globally.

Each Learning Lab offers the opportunity for customers to physically step into a designed hybrid meeting to learn how to execute the core elements of a successful meeting today, such as how to set-up an on-site rapid Covid-19 testing center/waiting room, temperature screening processes, socially-distanced general session and break-out set-ups, redesigned food and beverage concepts and solutions, virtual streaming capabilities and more. Each Learning Lab, experienced through guided small-group tours, brings well-being to the forefront and further reinforces the commitment to offering industry-leading tools and resources to equip meeting professionals to Connect with Confidence with Marriott.
Marriott Marquis Houston's Learning Lab
"As the industry navigates the evolving meetings environment together, Marriott is proud to offer hybrid meeting and event solutions, and the opportunity to Connect with Confidence," said
Tammy Routh, Senior Vice President, Global Sales Organization for Marriott
International. "Offering the opportunity to experience the Learning Labs firsthand has been educational and inspiring for the many industry professionals we've welcomed, and equally beneficial for our own teams as they continue to create and refine innovative solutions for meetings and events. While nothing replaces face-to-face interaction, we do understand the need to expand the reach of the meeting to those attending virtually. This has been a trend and has certainly increased in the past year. Our hotels are ready to work with each meeting professional on how best to support their meeting objectives and the ever-changing requirements that come with the current business environment." |
