Dr. Sheila D. Williams is an expert in her field, with a MA in Mental Health Counseling and a Ph.D. in Leadership and Education. She has an extensive background in Education, Counseling, Training, and Executive Management. She has over 25 years of experience in both the Mental Health and Education fields, Dr. Williams has served as an Educator (at all levels), Mental Health Therapist, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Director of Education and Campus Director.
As author of the critically acclaimed memoir, 'My Mother's Keeper', she chose to break her silence about her mother's mental illness, family dysfunction, as well as many other challenges she's faced in her life. She is very passionate about evoking self-awareness, and is dedicated to bringing hope, healing and inspiration to everyone she meets.
Dr. Williams is a highly sought after Empowerment Speaker and Media Personality as she will inspire, uplift, and ignite any audience who hears her message. Her life's purpose is to educate and inform others about the importance of mental health while simultaneously evoking change to improve access to adequate Mental Health Care.

She has been a repeated featured author at the NAACP National Convention for sev ER rally consecutive years, and has served as keynote and commencement speaker for numerous churches, colleges, nonprofit organizations, women's conferences and business.
Dr. Sheila has been featured in numerous publications, and blogs, and served as a Mental Health expert on countless radio and tv shows. She will be the Keynote Speaker for the annual conference for the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, which is expected to host thousands of attendees this year.
