Fort Worth CVB Launches New Services Microsite

New Tools For Meeting Planners

In response to a growing number of requests and increased meeting attendance, the Fort Worth Convention & Visitors Bureau (FWCVB) has launched a new services microsite exclusively with meeting planners in mind. FortWorth.com/Plan provides innovative tools and helpful tips that allow customers to plan and promote their meeting with ease.

"We wanted to create an online environment that is a one-stop shop for our customers," said Nannette Eiland, FWCVB director of services. "The number of meetings serviced by the FWCVB has increased 28% in the past five years and we expect that number to continue to grow." Prior to joining the FWCVB, Eiland served as the director of event administration at Gateway Church, one of the largest churches in the United States and as senior marketing manager at the Gaylord Texan.

From large groups to intimate meetings, the new microsite offers clients the right tools for their needs along with engaging content to get their attendees excited about visiting Fort Worth.

Features of the new microsite include :

·         Easy to navigate tools menu

·         Dynamic video content

·         New marketing materials

·         Social media tips and best practices

·         New high-resolution destination photography

·         A "responsive" design that automatically fits any size phone, tablet or desktop

    computer

To support increased convention activity and hotel bookings, the City of Fort Worth has begun discussions with developers to add a new convention center hotel downtown, which would add 1,000 rooms to the market.
