The Chattanoogan hotel, a
Benchmark Hotel®
and
Benchmark Conference Center® as well as the only AAA Four Diamond-rated full-service property in Chattanooga, announces upgraded enhancements for groups holding meetings at the upscale hotel. The Chattanoogan, which is also the sole
IACC-certified hotel in the state of Tennessee, is now offering new interactive teambuilding culinary events based on some of the most popular television cooking shows on the air, private themed dining events at the hotel or at
The Tennessee Aquarium, multiple dinner options at some of Chattanooga's best restaurants, and exciting themed parties designed by one of the top destination management companies in the Southeast.
"The Chattanoogan was excellent and very accommodating to our group and the way we conduct our meetings," said Warren Perez, district business manager for
Pfizer. "The
ChattaVegas event was great! The food was top notch and the staff, especially the dealers and bartender, were extremely hospitable."
The award-winning LEO Events is now overseeing themed events, such as ChattaVegas, for The Chattanoogan. One of many options offered, ChattaVegas takes guests back to the days of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin's Vegas, without ever leaving the comfort of The Chattanoogan. The event includes casino tables with dealers, décor, lighting, prizes, a jazz trio, delicious Vegas Dinner prepared by the culinary team at The Chattanoogan, event coordination, management, labor and set up. Other specialty offerings include Movie Night, Gatsby Night Themed Dinner and the Good Ole' Tennessee Party. LEO Events fee is separate from the price of the meeting at The Chattanoogan, but the themed dinner is included in the hotel's Benchmark Conference Plan (BCP).
The new teambuilding events at The Chattanoogan include The Chopped Dinner Challenge, where participants compete in the ultimate food challenge creating two dishes from a variety of unique ingredients;
Great Burger Challenge;
Ultimate Pizza Challenge; and
Ultimate Chili Cook Off. The events are designed to promote teamwork, strengthen camaraderie and enhance communication in a fun and fast-paced environment.
The Chattanoogan has also enhanced its already popular Dine Around and is now including the option to enjoy dinner at some of the city's top restaurants, including
Alleia,
Public House and
Meeting Place, at no additional cost. In addition, meeting participants can dine at one of Chattanooga's most popular attractions, The Tennessee Aquarium, with no added fees. Guests who would prefer to have dinner at The Chattanoogan now have enhanced dining menus to select from, with offerings ranging from upgraded entrée and dessert selections to a Backyard Barbecue.
"The Dine Around was a great option to break away from the hotel after two days of meetings and allow us to stay within our conference packaging," said Butch Agsalud, district business manager for Pfizer. "This was a highly convenient and effective feature for our group."
