La Valencia is near completion of their meetings and events space. Just in time for its 85th anniversary this year, La Jolla's iconic La Valencia Hotel is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to its meetings and events space, lobby, restaurants, and guest rooms. The posh 112-room hotel, recently taken over by San Diego-based Pacifica Companies, has already undergone exterior repairs, including a full re-painting, and renovation of the guest rooms, restaurant, meeting space and spa will likely start later this year.

The property's iconic Whaling Bar will also undergo an extensive refresh to the interior design and food & beverage program. Known by many as "The Pink Lady," the hotel is perched on a seaside bluff in downtown La Jolla and hosting some of Hollywood’s most well-known stars over the years.


Alongside the newly designed meeting space, they're launching their 9 To 5 Excursion Packages. These team building packages range from group outdoor recreation (urban hikes, yoga, beach walks), culinary events (Iron Chef cook-offs, Mixology classes) and even philanthropic team building activities.
