The charming Comfort Inn and Suites hotel in Levittown, Puerto Rico has opened a new seafood restaurant that serves up breathtaking sights alongside delectable fare.
This newest addition to the property's offerings is called "The View," an on-site restaurant on the penthouse floor of the hotel with sweeping floor-to-ceiling windows, providing panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
The owners of the property are no strangers to hospitality or the culinary arts. In addition to the recently-upgraded hotel located on the outskirts of San Juan, the Fuentes family also owns the very popular seafood and steak Campomar Restaurant adjacent to the hotel, offering guests some of the best seafood options on the island.
"Our family has decades of experience in this business, and a long history in hospitality on the island," said General Manager Brenda Fuentes-Bauzo, assuring new visitors a welcoming and truly authentic island experience during their stay.
Bauzo says the response to "The View" has been exceptional, and it continues to gain in popularity among visitors and locals alike. "We specialize in seafood, but our menu is diverse and represents the authenticity of Puerto Rican cooking," she added.
The 60-room, eight-suite Comfort Inn and Suites Levittown offers views of Old San Juan, and its ship-like design makes the most of its proximity to the highly rated Blue Flag Beach, only a mile away.
The hotel recently upgraded its bedding to the new "Comfort Truly Yours" package, and offers the free signature Comfort Inn breakfast, featuring hot and cold items, and complimentary high speed wireless Internet.
Comfort Inn and Suites Levittown's success in the hospitality sector as well as the weddings and events market has much to do with Bauzo and her team's hands-on approach to delivering topnotch customer service at the seven-year-old hotel.
With affordable room rates, which start below US $100 per night (exclusive of taxes), all spacious guest rooms are air conditioned and come equipped with coffee makers, flat-screen televisions, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards.
