The 13^th annual Samuel DeWitt Proctor Clergy and Lay Leadership Conference will be held at the Omni Houston Hotel, Houston, Texas, February 15-18, 2016. The celebratory pinnacle of the conference is the honoree dinner, Wednesday, February 17, 2016.

The theme for the 2016 Clergy and Lay Leadership Conference is: Look Around: The Cries Will Be Heard. The scripture for this conference is: "6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Matthew 5:6 (NRSV)

Conference organizers remain committed to having exhibits that reflect the kind of information, services and products that specifically complement the conference agenda. This precludes general clothing, jewelry and home accessories exhibits. The exhibit begins Sunday, February 14th, officially opening on Monday at Noon and run through Thursday morning, February 18th.

The Samuel DeWitt Proctor Conference reaches and influences thousands of dynamic and progressive faith leaders in the United States. Through various activities, the conference provides leadership development and strategic planning initiatives for the African-American faith community.
